Simy Jose Hammer is the Founder and Creative Director of Sustainably U, a Dubai-based sustainable luxury fashion brand redefining timeless style through conscious design, ethical craftsmanship, and mindful consumption. Driven by a passion for sustainability, creativity, and timeless elegance, Simy is reimagining fashion for a more conscious world - one that begins with reducing waste, embracing organic and natural materials, and building thriving local communities.
At the heart of her vision is the belief that true sustainability goes beyond garments. It lies in enabling conscious consumption, nurturing creativity, and creating opportunities for communities to grow and prosper. Every Sustainably U piece is thoughtfully designed and ethically crafted in Dubai, celebrating local craftsmanship while redefining luxury through purpose, innovation, and enduring style.
Her journey into fashion began with a heartfelt desire to harmonize our ecosystem with the choices we make every day. We design to create timeless pieces that can be a part of your wardrobe for years to come without losing their character of minimalism. Sustainably U pieces will fit seamlessly into your wardrobe.
Responsible Production
We take pride in sourcing all our raw materials locally to support the local suppliers. All our designs are handmade into garments at our workshop in Textile Souk, Dubai. This is to ensure circularity, minimal carbon footprint, transparency, quality, and fair wage/working conditions for every human that we collaborate with to bring each design to life.
Mindful Partnerships
As a company driven by sustainability and circularity at every step of the way, we focus on building and fostering longer-term partnerships within the supply chain, media/Marketing, and aftersale partnerships. This definitely is not easy by any standard, however, we believe in the process and sticking to our core values.
We also belive that giving back should be a quite process, not for the world to know but for us to do. We partner with Gulf for Good and donate 15 AED on every cloth you buy.
Circularity
